Linked Web Assignment

Due Tuesday, October 22 at noon

This assignment is two parts. The first is an adaptation of your CodePen conversion assignment. And the second is more of an exploration of other websites and a reflection.

1. Add at least one other page to your portfolio/creative site you’ve been working on. Link to this page from the home page and have a way to get back to the homepage from the linked page. You can have more links/pages if you like. You can also create a new site if you want to start fresh — as always, be creative. Publish the site using WebWarrior and email me the link at freedmand@temple.edu
2. Browse through some news websites of your choosing and use the web inspector to see how the sites are put together. Try analyzing some data visualizations. Modify a news article using the tricks we learned in the slides and send me a screenshot. Also give me two paragraphs on your insights browsing other websites, how the HTML seems to be put together, what seems coherent, what seems strange. Send me the screenshot and paragraphs to freedmand@temple.edu
